NTDC recently attended the Summer Technical Networking event at Imperial College London.
It was great to see so much engagement from Technicians at Imperial attending the event on the 25th of July. Here, we networked with technical staff and shared information on what the National Centre is offering and the how people can access it.
The theme for the event was ‘leadership and management’ with many relevant sessions for technicians lined up, including discussions on leadership and the skills required to manage technical areas.
The day’s theme was based off feedback following the Technicians Skills Survey that technicians at Imperial completed last year –  many technicians expressed interest in developing their management skills.
The Technician Skills Survey is one of the Tools created during the TDM project, that is now offered by NTDC.  You can find out more about the Survey here.
