The IST Annual Technical Conference was held at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre on 18th September this year. After a great day of workshops, talks and networking, the afternoon session saw the announcement of the Best Poster Prize and Outstanding Trainee or Apprentice Award. Following this, IST Chairman and Founding Director of the NTDC, Terry Croft, was able to formally present the University of Reading with their National Technician Development Centre Partner Affiliate Certificate. The certificate was accepted by Dr Karen Henderson, the Director of Technical Services at the University of Reading.
