Role

An opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced “hands on” Networks and Communication Engineering Technician working as a member of the technical staff team in the School of Engineering and Sustainable Development.

You will assist in the provision of technical support to staff and students in their teaching and research activities. Your main duties will include providing a comprehensive and efficient technical service to support the day-to-day running of the Networks and Communication Laboratories and associated areas.

Ideal Candidate

As the Networks and Communication Engineering Technician you will be experienced in working within a communication/EMC testing facilities, Qualified or have a degree in an engineering subject. You should be able to prioritise and organise workload with minimal supervision, have a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail. You must be well motivated, flexible and able to work without close supervision as well as within a team environment.
