Dear Partners, Members and Friends,

We would like to extend our best wishes to everyone in this uncertain time and hope that you will all stay safe. We would also like to keep you up-to-date as much as we can over the next few weeks. As you would expect, the NTDC has been closely monitoring developments in relation to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

The NTDC has made arrangements to allow for business as usual, and we are here to support and help you as much as we feasibly can.

People‘s health and wellbeing is our priority in the current circumstances, and we have put a proactive plan in place to ensure that we are taking reasonable steps to protect this, and reduce risk to members, staff, or those attending meetings, while continuing our services and facilities. Most staff are working from home, so please feel free to contact us if you require any assistance, either by email or directly with any member of the team.

We will continue to monitor the situation, and will update you throughout.

As of today, we have put the following measures in place:

  • All NTDC meetings held at our Palmerston Road offices will be held virtually as currently scheduled, or rescheduled. We will review this at the end of April. This will include meetings of committees and representatives of Special Interest Groups, Executive meetings, Face-to-Face meetings. If you were scheduled to attend a meeting in person, the meeting organiser will be in contact with you, but again, please get in contact with any queries or if you need any information.
  • NTDC head office staff will be working remotely by default from Tuesday 17th March pending review at the end of April. With the plans and facilities we have in place we anticipate that you should not notice any significant difference, and phone calls and emails will be answered as normal. This means that there should be no negative effect on the NTDC’s day to day business.

If you have any queries, please contact enquiries@ntdc.ac.uk  We will regularly update social media channels, and will keep you informed of further developments via email.

Best wishes

Terry Croft, MBE
