“At the Universtiy of Kent we have recently started a project to review our technical services across all areas of the University. Our aim is to build upon the fantastic work of our technical staff to create a structure which supports our commitment to delivering the very best service to our students and colleagues.
“We are therefore delighted to partner with the NTDC who are supporting Kent in defining this future strategy. The partnership with the NTDC will allow us to drive forward our work in recognising the contribution technicians make to the University, to enhance the visibility of technicians and to provide clear career pathways and development opportunities. By joining the many other University partners at the NTDC we can work together to build a sustainable future for our current technicians and also those entering the profession.”
