An exciting opportunity for a Bionanofabrication Suite and Clean Room Manager has arisen in the Department of Bioengineering, within our new research facility/Campus at White City. Working alongside the Technical Operations Manager and the Director of the Bionanofabrication Suite, you will ensure that facilities remain appropriate and functional for all users. You will also work with users from a variety of backgrounds to train and assist them in their methods, including fabrication tasks such as Atomic Layer Etching (ALE), Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Deep Reactive Ion Etching (DRIE). You will take the lead in the promotion of the cleanroom facility within Imperial as a whole as well as taking a proactive approach in creating links with other universities, industry and SMEs – all as potential future users and collaborators.

As you will be working with a wide range of staff, students and visitors, excellent communication skills and management skills are essential. You will be provided with relevant training and expected to work towards this and will have the opportunity to attend professional development workshops.
