The University of Lincoln’s Joseph Banks Laboratories houses new research and training facilities for the Schools of Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Sciences and Geography.
The College of Arts is a vibrant and growing element of the University of Lincoln which is based in the heart of this thriving, beautiful and friendly city. The colleges Technical Services team is made up of over 30 highly skilled and specialist staff who provide a wide-range of services and support to students and academic staff from across the numerous schools within the College. We are looking to recruit an individual to help support teaching and learning and to operate and maintain the University’s television studios.
Applications from people with extensive experience in the use and operation of professional television studios or a background in electronics or broadcast engineering will be considered. The post holder will be expected to support students and academic staff via timetabled workshops, self-directed learning and general studio support.
As an applicant for this post, you should;
- have experience in working in or operating a professional television studio and related equipment such as lighting, vision mixing and audio systems.
- have an understanding of broadcast technologies or electronic engineering.
- be self-motivated and a proactive team player with a passion for providing an excellent student experience
- have the potential to develop your skills so that you are able to provide technical support to the wider team
The post is a full time position and has a projected start date of February 2021 subject to clearances. Full training will be given to the right candidate in the universities policies and procedures.
