Technical proposals required for Summer Science Exhibition 2023

The Royal Society is calling for technical proposals as part of its flagship Summer Science Exhibition 2023.

The summer exhibition, which celebrates innovative UK science, requires researchers to produce work that will engage diverse audiences.

The free and interactive exhibition takes place next July.

More than 13,000 members of the public, including 2,000 school students, are expected to visit the exhibition, where they’ll be able to explore the latest advances in science and technology.

The 2023 exhibition provides an opportunity for 21 UK-based researchers in academia and industry to raise the profile of their research and institution amongst key influencers, potential funders, the government and public.

Selection will be based on exhibits that cover a broad spectrum of scientific disciplines and which focus on robust and ground-breaking interactive science. Three groups will also be selected as reserves.

The Royal Society will support contributors with submitting their proposals and coordinating their exhibits.

The deadline for proposals for the Summer Science Exhibition 2023 is 12th September 2022. You can apply here.
