The University is currently looking for an outstanding technical services manager, to oversee the provision of support for the School of the Built Environment & Architecture and ensure this is delivered to the highest standards across its portfolio of architecture, civil & building services engineering, quantity & building surveying and property & construction management.
Key to this role will be the direct liaison with senior managers and academics to ensure that the schools delivery needs are understood and met, effectively leading their own team to support, inspire and develop technical excellence, and building positive collaborative relationships with colleagues throughout the LSBU group.
About you
You will have significant technical knowledge of working on, and effectively delivering projects in a higher education or professional environment.
You will have gained substantial expertise within your own discipline, and have the confidence to proactively lead and manage, or grow and develop technical teams as required.
You will have excellent organisational skills, and be able to confidently, and coherently convey complex information to a variety of audiences.

Your Bachelor’s degree, or professional experience will be in a closely aligned discipline to the Built Environment and Architecture
You will have significant experience of taking the lead in a senior technical role, delivering effectively on projects of varying complexity.
