What makes you love your role as a Technician?

What makes your role special?

The past three years of photo competition submissions have delivered amazing photographs from technical staff across the UK and beyond. The image carousel above showcases the fantastic entries we received in 2021 and 2022.  Technicians play vital roles in their teams and every role, technician and team is different. In order to celebrate the uniqueness of every technician, we are running our annual photo competition between January and June 2023.  

We want to see how your technical role is special, why you love it and how technicians make it happen!  

This year’s competition prizes are sponsored by Scientific Laboratory Supplies (first prize), and Chromatography Direct and Anthias Consulting (runner up prizes). The closing date for submissions is the 30th June 2023. We will invite all winners to join us at our Partner Forum event in September 2023, where we will showcase the shortlisted and winning photographs.

First Prize: £300 cash

Runner Up Prize 1: £200 cash

To enter the competition, please complete this Google Form. Both your supporting statements and photograph entry should be submitted within the form. See terms & conditions for full details. 

Your photograph and supporting statements will be presented to a panel of NTDC/HEaTED staff and Specialist Advisors. 

All entries will be anonymised as much as possible without altering the supporting statements.
